Our Port Cost Management system helps you handle everything you, as an operator, might require to fully manage and optimise your port call, from port call planning to voyage closing. Whether you’re a vessel owner, commercial pool operator, commodity trader, bulk commodity producer or energy major, it will help you manage all port calls for the vessels in your fleet, while focusing on optimising operating costs and honouring all individual contracts with your counterparts.
In the planning phase, the operator is able to compare what a similar vessel in their fleet has paid at that port, as well as what that vessel’s average costs are globally. If it’s the first time a vessel in your fleet is calling a particular port, our port cost estimator can generate expected port costs based on the vessel and market order details. In addition, the operator will be able to see market averages for similar vessels in the same port for the same port operations.
Once the call is in progress, the operator will be able to be updated in real time about the status of the vessel and any costs that are being incurred. Our efficient DA querying system allows the operator to query any PDA/DA item, with reference to the relevant invoices. This includes cost comparison features with previous DAs from similar vessels in the fleet, market averages of similar vessels, and an automatic tariff calculation based on your vessel’s voyage reports.
Our Email Management system ensures that all the operator’s emails regarding this call are available directly from the job file, ensuring that all information is easily retrieved at the click of a button.
